Our promise

If water gets into your home because of our installation, we repair the covered cause without charging you. The same promise covers drafts and operation problems caused by our installation.
We inspect the issue first. A leak caused by another part of the house or an item outside the coverage is a paid service visit, with the price explained before work is scheduled.

Coverage belongs to the original purchaser while they own and live in the home at the installation address. It ends when the home is sold.
Product service
How glass and product service works.
Moisture trapped between glass panes often points to a failed insulated-glass seal. That is generally a manufacturer claim. The manufacturer supplies a covered replacement part under its written warranty; labor may be chargeable after its labor allowance ends.
If water appears around a window, we inspect the cause first. Installation-related water intrusion falls under our installation coverage; a failed glass unit, frame, hardware, or other product component follows the manufacturer’s written terms. Accidental breakage coverage also varies by manufacturer and series.
Window care
Your part: simple maintenance.
Our caulking is covered for the first two years. After that, inspect it about once a year and refresh it as normal home maintenance. Houston heat and humidity can wear caulk over time.
Keep the weep holes clear so your windows drain properly. Clean glass and frames with mild soap and water, avoiding solvents and abrasive cleaners.

How to request warranty service.
Email hello@windowhouston.com when you notice a problem. Include your address, the affected window, a description of the issue, and photos if you have them. We inspect the cause, explain what is covered, and provide a written price before any chargeable work.
For product claims, we help with the manufacturer’s process. Covered installation repairs cost you nothing; manufacturer claims follow the product warranty terms and may have separate labor coverage.
Eligibility and limits
Manufacturer terms govern glass, frames, hardware, and screens. Our installation coverage applies to the original buyer at the installation address while the project is paid in full, the buyer owns and lives in the home, and the windows receive normal use. It is not transferable and ends when title transfers.
Outside damage, indoor condensation, and building movement are excluded. Alterations by others void coverage for affected windows. Service requires reasonable access, including a lift if needed. Our responsibility is limited to covered repairs and direct labor for a covered leak; consequential losses are excluded where the law permits. Applicable legal rights remain yours.
